We can offer a number of packages to suit your business requirements but these can be broken down into roughly:

Standard Maintenance

XP Solutions are different from most maintenance companies. We do not leave you with hardware that just works but you have to load the software on again. If it is possible, we will try to put you back to where you were before your system failed.

On Network Maintenance, we offer four working hour response. If it is mission critical we can even offer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week cover. We specialise in Fujitsu Servers, but are able to cope with most Clone Manufacturers. We cover Novell, UNIX, and Microsoft operating systems; structured cabling; and Ethernet Cards and Hubs. In addition we are able to cover most PC's and Printers on a per incident basis, see below incident packs.

On Software Telephone Support, we cover Sage, Pegasus, and SAP Accounting products, VPOP and Microsoft Exchange, plus GoldMine CRM and Microsoft Office Products. We offer:-

Extended Maintenance 

Over the past few years, we have seen a change in the way our clients have purchased their IT equipment. Systems have become easier to use but more complex to maintain. They have also become more mission critical. When you stop getting emails, or the network is down when you are running the payroll, the company stops working!

To address these changes XP Solutions implemented two new services, a proactive service called "Facilities Management" and an insurance type package called "Incident Packs".

Facilities Management

As part of the service we offer, we visit you on a regular basis and check over your system and sort out any issues, before they becomes a problem. We also take the opportunity to discuss with you any issues you wish, such as new products, increasing efficiencies, training, and anything else that will help keep your system running at optimum efficiency. In detail, we cover: -

  • Remote monitoring of your network by IT experts
  • Scheduled preventative system maintenance weekly, monthly, or quarterly
  • Asset management service so you know exactly what equipment you have
  • Advice on where your system is vulnerable
  • Prompt action to solve problems as they emerge
  • Regular IT system performance reports
  • Fixed cost means no surprises, and better control over your IT budget

Incident Packs

The idea behind these is to allow customers to use an incident for a repair on a computer, printer, scanner or other computer peripheral. The cost is fixed and they have no time limit. It means, if you bought the equipment elsewhere, we can still cover it under an Incident. You can even use an incident for us to install it for you. Also the more you buy, the cheaper each incident becomes. It's better than insurance: if you don't use it, you don't pay any more!
